About the Van
Why Electric?
Living life meant living sustrainably and being self sufficient.. We wanted our only challenge to be fresh water. We believe that we've partly addressed this (which we'll explain later), power, and abudnance of it was paramount. So too, being as connected as possible (no, we're not using Starlink).
We opted to live life in a 2022 ERV Retreat Caravan.
So that meant, no gas, no carrying unnecessary fuel. Our trusty F350 has over 200 lt of fuel we'll keep topped up and given the sophisticated power system (yet to be shown by other travellers to date) will keep us powered up - rain, hail, wind or shine! The plan is to focus our treks with the weather.
The layout of the van is pretty standard but it's also a sealed unit meaning minimal dust and the colour scheme will nicely blend in to any that does manage to find it's way in :)
