Journey has now begun!
Why?
We've been travelling for many years now, both domestically and internationally and that ain't going to change. We've done our fair share of travels in the old Ford Ranger around this great land which was fine for short stints but not for towing the size of caravan we have and the gear we'll be taking with us!
With 600 commercial airports in Australia, we can jump on a plane any time we need to. So why be stuck in "sunny" Melbourne 365 days of the year?
We won't be doing the "look at me" - "look at me" posts or photos indulging our egos, our journey will be about community and the people and towns we'll visit and the yarns to be spun. We'll stay for as long as we want, when we want. We'll entertain with some music if the mood takes us and help out farmers who need a hand for a while. We'll continue to eat well and to remain fit in order to be able to live the lives we ultimately want to.
That's the sum total of it. Our only indulgence on occasion is in showing how our truck and van enables us to continue to work, rest and play whilst on the road and to be prepared when we encounter challenges.
